One of the new initiatives for the HFNA is the Welcome Wagon – a group of neighbors who are dedicated to making sure everyone is welcomed into the community and to provide a resource for answering your questions. Want to know more about local clubs? Parenting groups or kids’ sports? Personal recommendations for local businesses or contractors? There’s definitely someone in the neighborhood who can point you in the right direction, and we’re here to help you connect. Most importantly, if you want an avenue to get to know new people, we are here to make introductions and help you put names to faces.

As part of ongoing efforts to fulfill our mission of building the HFNA community, we have created a way for neighbors to utilize the HFNA to assist one another. It may be that you are going through a transition (eg., new baby, surgery, death in the family) and could use some help with meals or some company, or you may be going away and could use someone to pick up any packages delivered while you’re gone. Regardless of the situation, the HFNA Neighbors Helping Neighbors committee is happy to assist. We look forward to serving you and building our community!
If you’d like to submit a request for assistance, or volunteer as part of our network of facilitators, please email us at HFNAHelpers@gmail.com.
